Excited? Hell yeah! Have you read the news? At Blizzcon 2005, Blizzard showed off the new expansion pack for World of Warcraft. What is new?
- 2 new races, including Blood Elfs on the Horde side
- New continent, the Outland, through the dark portal.
- Level cap upped to 70
- Flying mounts in Outland!!!
- much more at Blizzard`s official page
I can`t wait to get playing! I am going to start a new character on the Blood elf side (as half of all Horde players)… I wonder though, how are they going to implement this with MC and BWL. They have to up these instances to lvl70 as well!? It would be stupid if a lvl70 mage could solo MC
Have a nice weekend!

Today I did what I knew I had to do: I quit my guild in World of Warcraft. I was in the guild “Flawless”, a new guild on the realm Balnazzar, and we did quite well. Some experienced players and alot of MC newbies, and still we made it to Majordomo in MC after 1,5 weeks. Alas, I didn`t participate. I don`t have time for it, so I quietly left. Flawless did MC almost every day from 17:00 to 00:00.
You see, the WoW people are seperated into two groups. The one`s with real lives, and the one`s without (no phun intended). Alot of people sit and game every day, all the time. I on the other hand, do social things on my spare time, and only play WoW when nothing else is happening, you get the picture.
Now I have to find myself a new guild, but this time I`m going for a PvP guild. After all, until I loose my life/friends, flunk school, and the TV blows up: I dont have the time for the PvE MC/Onyxia/BWL stuff…
Horde PvP guilds may contact “Hera” at Balnazzar
update: I`m in a new guild called “Insignia Removal Squad”

Had a great weekend in Tromsø¸! Alot of fun, some alcohol, alot of flying and cold as heck! Pictures added in the gallery
At the moment I am listening to the Prodigy. They just came out with their new album, called Their Law. It is a compilation of their best singles through the years, with alot of remixes and live versions. Awesome! Brings back alot of memories If you have the chance, go check it out. It is availeble at the iTMS.
More music related news: Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park will be releasing his first album with his other band, Fort Minor, on November 22. I have heard the sigle “petrified” alot of times now, and I like it. You can listen to it through their website: www.fortminor.com
I have been quite bored today. After sleeping 12 hours straight (tired as hell after weekend) I realized that my room was dirty, and by that I mean disgusting! So I put on my washing face and cleaned my entire room. I even washed the glass/cups/mugs I never use. After hours I was done, and so proud that i took my DV-Cam and recorded some. Here is a movie of my room/apartment. I didn`t film the kitchen and the bathroom, cause I didnt clean that Note: this is a H.264 video which is optimized for iTunes and iPod Video. You can view it in iTunes and QuickTime 7 (free downloads from Apple, and I am sure VLC and other players play it too. But if it doesn`t work there is a lo-res ordinary QuickTime file at the bottom. The source is widescreen but the movies are not, so the view it on a tv and strech it to widescreen mode =) I`ll try to post new updated one`s soon.
Download the low-res regular QuickTime file here…
NB: some browsers requires that you right click and choose Save-As.

I was browsing the web when i came across an article about human sleep cycles. I`m the first one to admit that this is an area I do not fully understand. When I have school I sleep 4-5 hours a night, and else i can sleep 10+ hours a night. And still, sometimes I am so tired after 10 hours of sleep, that I can barely get up. Weird, I thought, untill I read this. Now before anyone thinks that I am one to read something and believe it is the truth, I`m going to just say: I googled around, and checked the facts (but if any can prove me wrong here, please go ahead). read more…
Here goes: We humans sleep in 90 minutes sleep cycles, and every night we have 4-5 og these cycles. So when you sleep 7.5 hours, you have completed 5 sleep cycles. And one sleep cycle contains 5 stages (falling asleep, delta sleep, REM sleep etc). The point is: If you complete a sleep cycle you get rested.
A person who completes 4 cycles a night, thus getting 6 hours of sleep is more rested than a person who slept 10 hours but didn`t complete any /some sleep cycles (interrupted by anything/woke up), or woke up during a cycle (but still slept longer).
Im going to put this to the test and try to fall asleep during the next half hour. If I fall asleep 5am (yeah, my internal clock has ben set to “nerd mode” which means sleep to 2pm, and goto bed around 4-5am), I should be able to wake up at 11am, thus getting 4 sleep cycles. Now if I push it further (as you can read following the link further down), I am supposed to be able to get 2 cycles a night (thats 3 hours), and 1 cycle in a nap later tomorrow (thats 1,5 hours again), but that sounds _insane_ as i LOVE to sleep =) It`s just that I have so much to do at the university, so much to do with friends, so many guild-mates whining about MC/ZG and Onyxia in Wow, a village in Black&White 2 who need their god, a lvl10 priest to level up and dont forget, the exercise I should get =)
This guy has some hints on getting by on 4,5 hours of sleep a day.”
Update Monday Morning: They are building something in the apartment over mine, so I woke up around 10:15. That makes 3 complete sleep cycles, and I am pretty awake =) Lets see how long it lasts.

Four years of waiting has passed, Black&White 2 has been released! If you have a god complex, like to be nice, like to abuse minions, like to have a cow as your pet, like to get a cow to eat people ane etc. this is the game for you.
The main story is: You get to play god. And your mission: Get the people to believe in you (as well as crush other gods), either with miracles or brute force. Go try it out, it`s fun as hell =)
Here are a few images of my bed sheet, now this looks geeky, but I found those on a regular store, and they have nothing to do with the game, but still

Steve Jobs today introduced the fifth generation iPods, with the ability to show video. Either on its 2,5 inch screen, or via TV-OUT to your tv. All this at the same price, and in a thinner enclosure
Also he introduced the new iMac. Speedier and with a remote control + an iSight webcam built in, this is the best media computer I have ever seen. It`s like an ordinary computer, but with the flick of the remote control, it turns into a media center where you have easy access to music, pictures and video (all this with the 6 button remote). It is astonishing, you HAVE to go to www.apple.com and check it out.
The last thing was iTunes 6. A few new features on the music store, but nothing worth making it a new master version from 5 to 6 in my opinion. The only thing that was interessting was the ability to buy TV-series from iTunes Music Store. Even though there were only 5 shows availeble, it includes Desperate Housewives, AND LOST!
Damn, I just bought an iPod Nano, now I have to get the new iPod with Video too… Apple is ruining me!
