SchoolWhat is it that makes school so booring? Stop playing World of Warcraft [some of] my friends say, but I don`t agree. I found school to be booring long before WoW came on the marked. Back then I used my “wow time” surfing the Internet.

It comes down to how good one is to sit down and read. Apparently, this is not my strongest side, here is the deal: I realized long ago that computers are FUN! Yes, one can play games, check mail, talk to distant friends, and listen to music. What is NOT fun, is to study computer science. It is nothing like playing fun games.

I have my concerns that math is the key to this.. It is the AoE of the real world, people flunk all around it.

After a hard weekend with around 24 hours of playing, i finally reached lvl 60. You bet I am one happy mage now =) I quested lije hell both days, and managed around 200 000xp a day (one lvl per day). This is good, since most people has to grind their last levels. I was most fortunate to have alot of quests. Btw: the migration to Balnazzar has started, and my character has migrated.

I captured my 60 ding with Fraps, check it out, it´s compressed into this WindowsMedia [HighDef video, but lousy capture] file:

Guess what, the expansion pack for World of Warcraft will be playable at Blizzcon. This is great news, since we might get an idea of how Blizzard is taking WoW forward.

A quick progress raport: I am currently at lvl 58, but will be reaching 59 in about an hour worth of play (thank you rested xp). The last level is going to feel like ages, but I _hope_ that I can do it in one day. After all, monday is the day we Burning Bladers migrate to the fresh realm that Blizzard set up for us.

It is going to be cool to start on a fresh realm, lets hope that the “noobs” dont migrate too =) goodbye server queue!

Since we spend alot of our time in bed, why not make the bed a cool place? I set up a projector in my bedroom, at my parents house. Check out the video I took from my cellphone (Safari keeps insisting that this is a .txt file, but it is a .3gp quicktime file. If the link doesn`t work, try Firefox)

Now if I only had a bluetooth keyboard and mouse to go with my PowerBook, I could fire up World of Warcraft. That would make it obsolete to get out of bed tomorrow :)
