Sas engine 2
As always after a visit back home, I am experiencing post-norway syndrome. Colleagues at work can´t understand me anymore, since I switched back to pure norwegian. I get pissed off because of my swedish salary and 40 hour week. Friends. Family. All the things that can make even the most globetrotter to get homesick. It is pretty natural of course since I always have a blast back home. Meeting friends, partying, doing something all the time, never bored, driving etc! I forget that it is not like this all the time. When living back home I got insane of boredom, so I have to keep reminding me that. Even though, the first few days in sthlm is always painted with a grey color.

I think my planespotting mania is back. I have to get a tele-lens and head out to arlanda and go plane shooting!

I got a new hard drive, its a WD 320gb drive, perfect for my MacBookPro, only one problem, voids warranty to put it in, costs 150$ to get Apple to do it.. Wait a minute! I’m a geek goddamnit, I do this sort of stuff for the fun of it. Ahright! I have no problems cracking open PCs and other laptops, but my own baby?! I had second thought.. Ok, lets go!
Hdd replace
The MacBook Pro is different to other laptops. There are no easy slide in hard drive slots as on the MacBook, there are no hatches/doors that one screw off to reveal a harddrive, so to speak: this thing is built for aesthetics, and not for easy removal of drives and stuff.
Mbp opened
I started by removing all the screws, you need Phillips T0 and Torx T6, and a plastic wedge of some sort. Easy peasy! I hit the first problem when removing the upper case, I.E the aluminum plate, keyboard and track pad. In addition to the 20 screws, it was clipped together by small plastic clips. Applying to much preasure would snap them, which would be disastrous, as the keyboard would have a gap between the top and bottom plate. I tried out carefully, but after a while I got impatient, and snapped the thing right off! The plastic clips held, no damage!
Hdd 320 gb
Next was the superglue! The cable/electric current plastic that connects the sleeping light and infrared sensor to the motherboard, was glued to the hard drive. I had to be extra careful removing it, as it is a millimeter thin, and i can’t believe this thing is very durable. After much work, it was off! Then I just had to swap the drive, and screw the parts back together. Success =)

TimeMachine is restoring my drive as we speak, so when I get home, the only difference will be, twice the space =)

Wee, I got my new ManU shirt the other day! I ordered the special edition “Champions League Final” shirt, with one of my favorite players, Michael Carrick, on the back.

ManU shirt 3
I couldnt choose Scholes on it, for some dubious reason? And I dont want the traitor Ronaldo on my back! Carrick is really good, so I chose him =) Notice the champions league style letters and numbers, and the champions league football on the side.

The embroidery, a symbol of our great season!

Even though many clubs were closed during midsummer, some of the best were still open. We pursued our list from worldsbestbars.com and headed out to Stureplan for some action. Jan Eirik is here visiting, so the timing was perfect.
Spybar
Thursday we went to Spybar. Apparently it is (Like Laroy) difficult to get in, but we used our trick. Speak english and pretend to be foreign people (like we are) visiting. There wasnt a huge line there, but we went right to the doorman and was told to take our time finishing our cigarette, and then got right in :P The place was disappointing sort of speak. I had thought that one of the most fancy places in Sthlm was more fancy than this place. Even though, I liked it! And we had a good time. They had a blackjack table as well, which is always positive :)

Saturday we went to Berns. A bigger line, but we got in pretty quick.
Berns 2
This place was nicer! Pretty and clean. Expensive drinks, and pretty people! :)
Berns
The latino club was also pretty cool, but we spent most of our time outside enjoying the warm weather, and good atmosphere! Too bad the weekend is over, but I look forward to Jan Eiriks next visit! Then we have to hit Sturecompaniet and Cafe Opera, next on the list :p
